    Donate Winter Clothing for Office of Community Affairs Winter Coat Drive

    The Office of Community Affairs is running a coat drive October 31 to November 20, 2023, to help migrants this winter. Help collect 200+ gently used or new coats, hats, and gloves for men, women, and children and drop them off 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, at the Office of Community Affairs Conference Room a Michael Paul Galvin Tower, 9D-41.

    Please join the Institute of Design in welcoming Mohamed Abdel-Kader, chief innovation officer and executive director for the Innovation, Technology, and Research (ITR) Hub at the United States Agency for International Development, hosted by Weslynne Ashton, professor of environmental management and sustainability and co-director of the Food Systems Action Lab.     King Ankobea-Ansah (MSc. MAE ’22) Awarded Yanmar/SAE Scholarship

    Congratulations to Ph.D. candidate King Ankobea-Ansah (MSc. MAE ‘22), who is the 2023/24 recipient of the Yanmar/SAE Scholarship. Yanmar America Corporation is the world's largest manufacturer of non-vehicle-use diesel engines. Given the urgency of limited fuel supplies and environmental concerns over continued use of fossil fuel, Yanmar established this scholarship to help promote their motto: "to conserve energy is to serve mankind.”
