    The sidewalk on the east side of SSV resident halls from 33rd to 34th street will be closed from March 29, 2013 until April 10,2013 for construction work to add a secondary electrical line to SSV.

    IIT Institute of Design has won the Rotman Design Challenge for the second consecutive year. The Challenge brings together top talent from leading business schools around the world to solve a business design challenge posed by an innovative and forward-thinking sponsor. This year's competition was held March 2–3 in Toronto, Canada.

    History of Women in Technology Luncheon

    Marie Hicks and Carly Kocurek of IIT’s Department of Humanities will speak on the history of women in computing and gender in video games at a free luncheon to be held on Tuesday, March 26 from 12:45–2:30 pm in the MTCC Ballroom. Students, faculty and staff of all genders are welcome. Meet and mingle with women students, faculty and staff from across the university. The event is sponsored by the Department of Humanities.

  • Upcoming Self Defense Workshops

    Women's Services is sponsoring two additional Self-Defense Workshops this semester! Both courses are offered by IMPACT Chicago, and will focus on awareness and safe distance as well as verbal and physical self-defense tools. The workshops will be held on Wednesday, March 27 at 9:00 pm in the MTCC Ballroom (co-sponsored with the Greek Council) and Thursday, April 4 at 6:30 pm in the MTCC Ballroom.
