Promotions and Office Name Change in the Office of Research
May 14, 2019Fred J. Hickernell, vice provost for research, is pleased to announce that Domenica Pappas will be promoted to assistant vice provost for research and Robert Lapointe will be promoted to director of the Office of Sponsored Research and Programs, effective Saturday, June 1, 2019. Also, effective immediately, the Office of Research Compliance will be renamed the Office of Research Integrity and Compliance. -

Lance Fortnow Is Named Dean of the College of Science
May 2, 2019The College of Science at Illinois Institute of Technology has found new leadership as Lance Fortnow will take over as its new dean on Thursday, August 15. It is a return to Chicago for Fortnow, who is the chair of the School of Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology.
