    Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching, learning, and research materials that are freely available to use, adapt, and share. They can include textbooks, articles, videos, simulations, and other resources. At this Faculty Lounge, Stephanie Fletcher, a librarian from Galvin Library with expertise in OER resources, will discuss how to discover, use, and share OER. Edoarda Corradi dell' Acqua, Senior Lecturer of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering, will share her experience of adapting, creating, and teaching with OER.

    Have Professional Headshot Taken on October 4–5

    The Office of Marketing and Communications will be offering professional headshots for Illinois Tech faculty and staff on Wednesday, October 4, from 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and Thursday, October 5, from noon–4 p.m. Photos will be taken on the 13th floor of Michael Paul Galvin Tower in the M&C office. The photos will be used on university/college/department websites, and may also appear in marketing print materials and social media posts.

    Illinois Tech Health Plan Members: Hinge Health Can Help You Combat Muscle and Joint Pain for Free

    Illinois Tech is continuing to offer a new back, knee, hip, neck, shoulder and other joint pain program to you and your eligible family members at no cost (click here to sign up). Once enrolled in the program, Hinge Health will create a customized care plan just for you. From there, your personal health coach or physical therapist will guide you through exercise therapy in the Hinge Health app.
