Congratulations Welcome Week Student Poster Winners
August 20, 2024The annual Welcome Week Student Research and Project Poster Day, co-sponsored by the Office of Research and the Office of Student Life, was held on Wednesday 14th August. Students from across the university came together to present their projects and introduce our incoming students to the exciting work being done here. Winners for best poster presentation were selected by a panel of faculty and staff judges. -
Participate in the JED Campus Student Focus Group
August 15, 2024Illinois Tech is partnering with JED Campus to assess and enhance our mental health resources, programming and policies. Our JED Campus Advisor is holding a student focus group on campus on Wednesday, September 4, to gather narratives on the student perspective of the strengths, challenges, and opportunities as it relates to campus culture, policies, and procedures that impact student emotional wellness. -
Volunteer Opportunity for Sabermetrics, Scouting, and the Science of Baseball
August 13, 2024Illinois Tech students can attend the baseball statistics conference Saberseminar on August 24 an 25 for free by volunteering at the event (during one of four time slots: Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning, or Sunday afternoon). As a reminder, if students are facing severe financial challenges through parent job loss, severe medical expenses, or other change in household circumstances may apply for a financial aid hardship appeal. -
