    Undergraduates: There’s Still Time to Enter the 61st Annual Writing Contest!

    The Department of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences is accepting submissions for its 61st annual writing contest. All spring 2026 full-time Illinois Tech undergraduate students (students who are currently taking at least 12-credit hours) are invited to submit original pieces of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, one-act plays, freshman essays, and philosophy. The deadline for submissions has been extended by one week! Submissions are now due by Thursday, March 26, at 11:59 p.m.
