Process of Writing an Academic Research Paper Workshop to Be Held November 8
October 26, 2023If you are interested in learning more about the process of creating a well developed, well researched, and well written research paper, please attend this joint Galvin Library and Illinois Tech Writing Center workshop at 12:45–1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, on the lower level of the Galvin Library. We will go over the process of developing a plan, searching and analyzing good, reliable sources, as well as writing good thesis statements and outlines. -

October 26, 2023The Illinois Tech Student Government Association is developing the Committee on Research Affairs, which has the mission to advance research done by Illinois Tech graduates and undergraduates while developing a research active, ready, and diverse student population. Currently, representatives across multiple disciplines are needed, as are various other positions relevant to the committee, such as web developers, journalists, and digital content creators. -

This course familiarizes graduate students with both reading and writing academic texts across disciplines.
