February 18, 2025This workshop at 12:45–1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, will discuss how to source high quality documents to contextualize your research, demonstrate the need for your research, and in general back up claims you make in your papers. Topics will include more effective search strategies and how to appraise documents for fitness. -

February 18, 2025This workshop on Thursday, February 20, will cover a framework for structuring academic papers known as “Creating A Research Space" or CARS. This framework was developed by analyzing successful, highly cited research articles and applies most specifically to the introductory sections of original research papers (like literature reviews) or proposals. -
