How to Get Your HawkCard ID and Building Access

HawkCard IDs
New students, faculty, and staff should submit their ID Photo online via MyHawkCard. Visit the online photo submission webpage for instructions. HawkCards will be available for pickup as follows for Fall 2022 opening.

Resident Students: New resident students that did not pick up their HawkCard during a SOAR session may receive it at the check-in table during move-in.

Commuter Students: New commuter students may pick up their HawkCard during Welcome Week, which kicks off on Monday, August 15.

Faculty and Staff: New faculty and staff HawkCards will be ready for pickup (1) business day after the ID Photo is approved.

Campus Building Access
The HawkCard also provides electronic key access to academic buildings and residence halls. Students, faculty, and staff will automatically receive these access assignments. Student building access will be effective on the first day of classes and residence hall move-in dates respectively. Faculty and staff building access will be effective upon issuance of the HawkCard. Individual students, faculty, and staff may be authorized to access additional interior rooms according to their role or program participation. Requests for additional HawkCard access must be submitted by an administrator of the location to HawkCard access requests will generally receive an initial response within (1) business day.

MyHawkCard can also be used to confirm meal plans, add TechCash, or mark your HawkCard lost or found if needed.
