Overview of Wine Making Processes and Project Management Cycle

Join the Department of Food Science and Nutrition for this FDSN Seminar Series event featuring Udit Mankad, a Corporate Project Engineer at Constellation Brands, Inc., one of the leading producers and marketer of beer, wine, and spirits. The event will take place on February 19 from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.

In his current role, Mankad supports eight wine and spirits production sites by leading multimillion-dollar capital projects. In this lecture, he will discuss red and white wine making processes, stage gates for capital expenditures, and tools and resources required in project management. He will also give an overview of a successfully completed wine process related project, identifying project objectives, scope, and accomplishments. A Q&A session with students will follow the presentation.
