Register for Parking by September 3
August 31, 2021Parking renewals have been issued for faculty and staff. Open parking registration is ongoing for students, faculty, and staff who did not have a permit last year via MyParking and will be linked to your registered vehicle(s) immediately. Parking permits will be strictly enforced beginning Tuesday, September 7. -
Department Parking Codes for Visitors
August 31, 2021Illinois Tech departments with a standing visitor parking code as of May 31, 2021 have been automatically extended through December 31, 2021. During Fall 2021, a mobile payment solution will be implemented, phasing out our legacy visitor paystations. -
2021-2022 Faculty/Staff Parking Permits
August 3, 2021Faculty and Staff that were enrolled in an employee parking plan with payroll deductions as of July 31 will receive an automatic permit renewal effective September 2021. To cancel your parking plan and future payroll deductions, please complete a Cancellation Form. -
Fall 2021 Student Parking Permits Available for Purchase
August 3, 2021Semester permits will be effective on August 16, 2021-December 31, 2021. Permits will be linked to your registered vehicle(s) immediately at the time of purchase. -
Don’t Forget to Restart your Pretax Transit or Parking Order
June 29, 2021As a reminder, the pretax commuter program allows employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for transit passes (Metra, Pace, CTA, etc.) and off-campus parking. -
Spring 2021 UPass Opt-In
January 12, 2021The January 4 priority deadline to opt-in for the Spring 2021 UPass has passed. Students that are still interested in obtaining a UPass must complete the Spring 2021 UPass Opt-In Form by February 9, 2021. -
Building Access Limited During Winter Break
December 14, 2020Mies Campus buildings will be closed Thursday, December 24 through Sunday, January 3, 2021, for winter break. To facilitate university business, faculty, staff, and student research assistants will continue to have their standard HawkCard access during this time. -
Opt-In for Spring 2021 UPass
December 3, 2020Because of the evolving situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, for the spring 2021 semester only, full-time students who wish to purchase a UPass must request one. If you currently have a UPass and would like to activate it for the spring semester, you must opt-in by January 4, 2021. -
HawkCard ID Update
August 27, 2020Online HawkCard ID photo submission is ongoing for students who plan to be on campus for Fall 2020. Resident students will receive their HawkCard at their Residence Hall and commuter students can schedule an appointment for pick-up beginning Tuesday, September 8. -
Faculty and Staff Parking Reminder
August 27, 2020This is a reminder that faculty and staff annual and academic year parking permits will be automatically renewed effective September 2020.
