60th Annual Writing Contest- Department of Humanities
February 13, 2025The Department of Humanities is accepting submissions for its 60th annual writing contest. All Spring 2025 full-time Illinois Tech undergraduate students (students who are currently taking at least 12-credit hours) are invited to submit original pieces of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, one-act plays, freshman essays, and philosophy. -

February 22, 2024The Department of Humanities is accepting submissions for its 59th annual writing contest. All spring full-time Illinois Tech undergraduate students (students who are currently taking at least 12 credit hours) are invited to submit original pieces of fiction, poetry, plays, and nonfiction. Winners will be announced on or after Wednesday, March 27, 2024, on the Lewis College of Science and Letters website. An in-person awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 12:45–1:45 p.m. -
