Inaugural Learning Innovation Symposium on August 16 to Cover ChatGPT in the Classroom
August 8, 2023The Center for Learning Innovation is excited to announce their first Learning Innovation Symposium, which will be held at 1–4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Galvin Tower. With a theme centered around "Chat GPT and Other Emerging Technologies in the Classroom," this year's symposium is intended to particularly address concerns and interests regarding new technologies regarding AI and large language models. The goals of the symposium are to educate participants, foster collaborate and learning, encourage critical thinking and drive innovation. -

July 18, 2023These Blackboard workshops are perfect for new instructors and those just beginning to use Blackboard, and provide Illinois Tech instructors and TAs the tools they need to build their Blackboard course sites. Register and learn how to: add materials, create assignments, create a test, use the Grade Center, and add a web conferencing tool and/or video, among other things. -

Instructional Designers design the learning experience for your course(s) based on learning objectives, outcomes and assessments. This can also include redesigning courses, developing entire courses or curriculums, etc. -

November 15, 2022The Fall 2022 End-of-term Course Evaluation Survey will open on Monday, November 21 and will remain open through Sunday, December 4. Instructors are asked to talk to their students about the survey and let them know that you value their feedback. Students can access the survey via a link in the email they will receive from the Center for Learning Innovation (CLI) or starting Monday, via a link found in the Tools area of Blackboard. -

Instructors are asked to talk to their students about the survey and let them know that you value their feedback. Students can access the survey via a link in the email they will receive from the Center for Learning Innovation (CLI) or starting Monday, via a link found in the Tools area of Blackboard. Students are encouraged to take a few minutes to evaluate each of their courses. -
