    Student Financial Hardship Assistance Available

    For students facing one-time or ongoing financial hardship, the Office of Financial Aid may be able to assist. Students with one-time unexpected expenses may apply for an emergency grant through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF). This fund was established by the government at the onset of the pandemic to support students with unexpected expenses and exceptional financial need.

    The program utilizes federal COVID-19 relief funding to provide eligible households discounts of up to $50 a month on home internet service, making the service more affordable and accessible for qualifying low-income families. The program also offers a $100 discount towards the purchase of a laptop, computer or tablet from a participating provider.
