The IRS announced on November 1, 2024, that maximum contribution limits for 403(b) plans are increasing in 2025. It also clarified the extra "super catch-up" amount available to individuals 60–63.

The Tuition Exchange program is a nonprofit organization of more than 700 colleges and universities that agree to a reciprocal scholarship program. Illinois Tech accepts applications from eligible faculty and staff and their dependents each fall for Tuition Exchange scholarship opportunities at other participating universities. Faculty and staff or their eligible dependents may apply for a scholarship as long as they meet certain criteria.

Illinois Tech’s annual open enrollment period for benefits will run from Friday, November 1, 2024, through Friday, November 15, 2024. Changes made during open enrollment become effective January 1, 2025. Live in-person or online information sessions will be held on November 1, 6, and 12.

Stop by Hermann Hall between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, to meet with representatives from many of our benefits vendors and wellness partners. Most vendors will have giveaways to thank participants for their attendance, and there will be a raffle drawing at the conclusion of the event.
