IIT Stuart School of Business is excited to host workshop leader Michael Miller, author of the book 4 Weeks to Your American Dream Job, for a special one-hour event for international students. The event will be held on Friday, April 19 from noon–1:00 pm at IIT Downtown Campus, Room C50, 565 West Adams Street in downtown Chicago. The doors will open at 11:45 am. IIT Team Advances to Global Final in Idea to Product Competition

April 9, 2013
On April 6, four teams of IIT students competed in the Idea to Product (I2P) Regional Competition in St. Louis, MO. The IIT teams competed against twelve teams from the Midwest and swept the field, with all four IIT teams making up the final four in the competition.

IBM/SPSS Data Mining Workshop

April 2, 2013
Marty Bariff will offer a hands-on tour of IBM/SPSS Modeler software for IIT faculty on Tuesday, April 9 from 12:45–1:30 pm in the AH218 Computer Lab. Take this test run to consider using the software in your courses or research. Applications include data quality, modeling for predictive analytics and pattern identification plus text analytics. The software is installed in almost all IIT computer labs from an IBM grant.
