New Website for Student Health and Wellness Center
September 26, 2012The Student Health Center and Counseling Center were combined into the single Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC) department in 2011 under the Division of Student Affairs. A new combined website for the Center has been launched at www.iit.edu/shwc. -

March 8, 2012In observance of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, the Student Health and Wellness Center will provide free, confidential screenings for anyone who is concerned about his or her eating or body image. -
IIT Celebrates Women’s History Month
February 29, 2012The Office of Campus Life will kick off a month-long celebration of Women's History Month, themed "Mind, Body and Health." Every week in March, Campus Life, along with Active Minds, Feminist’s United, Lights, Camera, Action Movie Club, the IIT Office of Spiritual Life and Service Learning and the Student Health and Wellness Center, will be featuring events around the theme of mind, body and health. -

February 19, 2012Would you like to become CPR/AED trained and certified? Do you need to re-certify your current CPR/AED certification? Two CPR/AED training classes (including training for infants & adults) will be held on March 7 and 8. -
Therapy Groups at the Student Health and Wellness Center
January 30, 2012The Student Health and Wellness Center is offering up to five new therapy groups for students this semester. Groups can be an excellent way to receive confidential support from each other led by trained professionals, and gain new perspective on the things that are challenging you. -
Immunization Walk-in Day this Friday
January 17, 2012If you are missing any needed vaccines, come to the Student Health and Wellness Center in the IIT Tower, Suite 3D9-1. The center will hold vaccination walk-in hours from 1 - 4 pm on Friday, January 20.
