TEDxIIT 2013 Meeting Schedule

January 14, 2013
For spring 2013, the student organization TEDxIIT runs from January 18 through May 3. The group meets weekly on Friday from 9:30–10:30 am at the SW Conference Room located on the 16th floor of IIT Tower. The room is located in the Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation, 10 W. 35th Street on IIT Main Campus.

First Business News spoke with several attorneys who attended a panel discussion hosted by IIT Chicago-Kent’s Sports & Entertainment Law Society on December 5 about growing concern of career-ending brain injuries in the NFL. Panelists interviewed included William Gibbs of Corboy & Demetrio, a 2004 IIT Chicago-Kent graduate who represents three former NFL players as well as the estate of the late Chicago Bears player Dave Duerson.

DoF Deadline for Student Organizations

Student organizations should note that all Disbursement of Funds (DoF) forms for any fall 2012 spending are due to the Office of Campus Life by 6:00 pm on Friday, December 7. If the forms are not received by that date, Campus Life cannot guarantee that it will be able to purchase your items.
