Book Fair at University Tech Park
October 26, 2012A "Books Are Fun" book fair hosted by the IIT Research Institute will be held in the University Tech Park Atrium on Tuesday, October 30 and Wednesday, October 31 from 11:00 am–4:00 pm. The fair will offer many books and gifts at great prices—just in time for the holidays! -

A September 6 Chicago Tribune article focusing on technology parks affiliated with universities includes comments about IIT University Technology Park (UTP) from IIT Vice President of External Affairs David Baker and from Said Al-Hallaj, a former research professor at IIT who started AllCell Technologies, a company working to improve safety and efficient of litium-ion batteries. AllCell, the first UTP incubator tenant, moved to a larger space in 2009 and plans to double its workforce this year.
