Each newsletter features university news, campus partner updates, and opportunities for alumni to connect and engage with the university community. Submit your news or events using the monthly newsletter submission form. Submissions are due by the 15th of each month for consideration.

    Apply to Join the Campus Judicial Board

    Calling all students, faculty, and staff! The Office of Community Standards is looking for you to participate in the Campus Judicial Board. The Campus Judicial Board is comprised entirely of members of the Illinois Tech community. The board meets approximately once a month to adjudicate student high-level disciplinary cases regarding alleged violations of the Illinois Tech Code of Conduct and is advised by the Student Affairs Cares Team.

    Call for Posters and Judges for Welcome Week Student Project Showcase — Open to ALL Illinois Tech Students

    All Illinois Tech undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students (including incoming students) who have done research, IPROs, and other professional project work during the last year are invited to present their work at the Illinois Tech Welcome Week Student Project Showcase from 2–4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in the Hermann Hall Expo Center. The showcase celebrates the excellent work conducted by Illinois Tech students and introduces new students to our research community, and highlights opportunities to get involved themselves.

    Trees Planted at The Alphawood Arboretum in Celebration of Newly Graduated MLA+U Students and Arbor Day

    As part of the annual tradition, the Master of Landscape Architecture and Urbanism program (M.L.A.+U.) graduates had the opportunity to participate in planting trees at the Alphawood Arboretum to commemorate their graduation. Twelve new trees were planted as part of the commemoration which consisted of four crabapples (Malus sp.), three honey locusts (Gleditsia triacanthos), and five poplar-aspens (Populus tremuloides).
