Campus Closures and Restrictions for NATO Summit
May 16, 2012The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will hold its 25th summit in Chicago on May 20-21, 2012. Leaders from NATO member countries are scheduled to attend the two-day event being held at McCormick Place and other locations in the city. In addition to the many travel and security restrictions put in place by city, state, and federal authorities, the Main and Downtown Campuses of Illinois Institute of Technology plan building closures and access restrictions from Thursday, May 17 through Tuesday morning, May 22. -
NATO Summit Brings Road and Train Station Closures, Other Travel Restrictions
May 14, 2012The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will hold its 25th summit in Chicago on May 20-21, 2012. Leaders from NATO member countries are scheduled to attend the two-day event being held at McCormick Place. Authorities have announced many road closures and restrictions on public transportation, vehicular and pedestrian routes that may impact the commute of many members of the IIT community. -

Patrick Ferrell and Kylin Fisher Receive 2012 Justice John Paul Stevens Public Interest Summer Fellowships
May 9, 2012IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law students Patrick Ferrell and Kylin Fisher have been awarded Justice John Paul Stevens Public Interest Summer Fellowships. Ferrell and Fisher will each receive $5,000 to support their work in summer public interest law positions.
