Undergraduates: There’s Still Time to Enter the 61st Annual Writing Contest!
March 3, 2026The Department of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences is accepting submissions for its 61st annual writing contest. All spring 2026 full-time Illinois Tech undergraduate students (students who are currently taking at least 12-credit hours) are invited to submit original pieces of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, one-act plays, freshman essays, and philosophy. The deadline for submissions has been extended by one week! Submissions are now due by Thursday, March 26, at 11:59 p.m. -
Grainger Computing Innovation Prize Info Session Open to All Students

The Grainger Computing Innovation Prize invites ALL Illinois Tech bachelor’s and master’s students from ANY major to use computing, data science, and AI for social good. Over the fall semester, teams will compete for $30,000 in prizes. Attend the information session on Tuesday, March 24, at the MTCC Ballroom. -
