New Student Orientation Program SOAR Continues This Summer
June 6, 2023It's time for Illinois Tech's new student orientation program—SOAR. Throughout the summer, the Office of Campus Life welcomes students and their families to our Mies Campus for an introduction to all things Illinois Tech. In addition, virtual sessions are hosted for both graduate and international students. In-person or online, SOAR is a fantastic opportunity for students to interact with campus partners, learn about available resources, and meet with their future classmates. Technology Access After Graduation
May 2, 2023The Office of Technology Services (OTS) has created an Alumni Technology Access webpage that explains which software and services will and will not be available to you after you graduate so that you can better plan for the future. Illinois Tech allows students to retain their university email account for life, but access to other services and applications may not be available after graduation or may be available for just 12 months post-graduation. -

Student Volunteers Sought to Translate for Guests at Commencement
April 25, 2023Student volunteers are needed for the 2023 Main Commencement Ceremony to serve as language translators for guests. The Main Ceremony will be held at McCormick Place, North Building, Hall B on Saturday, May 13. We will need student translators stationed in various areas within McCormick Place to assist our many guests coming to see their graduates on this important occasion. -

Get Ready for Finals at Galvin Library
April 18, 2023Galvin Library will be open 24 hours for 12 days beginning Sunday, April 23, at 1 p.m. until Friday, May 5, at 7 p.m. Our staff will be available to assist you at all hours of operation. We offer study support and de-stress activities to help you prepare for finals, including writing tutoring services, therapy dogs, the Wellness Lounge and coffee in the evenings. -
