    While Megan Burrill and Katherine Lydon outpaced the rest of the field to take home individual race wins at Lake Forest College on Saturday afternoon, the Scarlet Hawks women's swimming and diving team fell 142-71 to the Foresters. It was Tech's final dual of the regular season in advance of the Liberal Arts Championships.

    The Illinois Tech men's tennis team opened the season against some of the best competition it will face all season on Saturday, traveling to oppose NCAA Division I Illinois State. Tech was defeated 7-0 by the Redbirds in both matches.

    Rockford Comes Back to Down Men’s Hoops

    The Illinois Tech men’s basketball team played a tough contest on Saturday evening, dropping a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) game at Rockford University. Tech (11-8, 8-6 NACC) led by as many as 13, but the Regents (9-10, 8-6 NACC) made a second-half surge to steal the victory 74-71.

    The Illinois Tech women’s basketball team made a trip in the cold weather on Saturday to oppose Rockford University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) contest. Rockford (2-16, 2-12) edged the Scarlet Hawks (0-18, 0-14 NACC) 67-61.

    Post Play, Outside Shooting Leads Men’s Hoops Past Benedictine

    The Illinois Tech men's basketball team broke up a four-way tie for third place in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) standings on Wednesday night, handing a loss to the Eagles of Benedictine University. Tech (11-7, 8-5 NACC) led by as many as 22 and downed the Eagles (10-8, 7-6 NACC) 78-68.
