    Free Project Management Fundamentals Course for US Military and Veterans

    The Office of Community Affairs and Outreach Programs and Black Diamond Charities are offering a free project management fundamentals class to US military and veterans to help advance their civilian careers. The first of 5 classes will take place Saturday, November 12, in Galvin Tower IT Room 6C7-1 from 10:00–11:00 a.m. The course includes a certificate of completion documenting 35 hours of project management training.

    The Art of the Reactor on display in Hermann Hall

    Lewis College of Science and Letters is proud to present the Art of the Reactor, an exhibit by the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History, alongside exhibits on the history of Chicago reactors, at Hermann Hall beginning on Friday, November 4. The exhibit will run through Sunday, December 4. Experience a special exhibit for the whole family that invites visitors of all ages to wonder at the brilliantly engineered renderings of nuclear reactors while also uncovering their inner artist by designing and creating their own unique artwork.
