    The Department of Food Science and Nutrition presents its fall 2023 seminar series featuring guest speaker Neeraj Kamath, associate principal technical service scientist in the dairy category and certified food scientist at Tate & Lyle, who will give a presentation on “Overview of Business-to-Business (B2B) Industry and Role of Technical Service Scientist in Growing the B2B Business.” This seminar is open to the public and will take place in person in the Robert Pritzker Building (room 111 auditorium) from 12:45–1:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 21.

Illinois Tech's Public Safety department has a variety of services they can help you with, including walking escorts to on-campus locations; IIT Alert System texts and emails for any important situation happening on campus, including weather emergencies; parking information; emergency phone and AED locations; and bike registration.

    Constitution Day Program: “Race, the Supreme Court, and the Constitution”

    A program in observance of Constitution Day will take place on Monday, September 18, at 4 p.m. at the Conviser Law Center (room 590). The title of the event is "Race, the Supreme Court, and the Constitution," and it will feature Professors Carolyn Shapiro, Raff Donelson, and Christopher Schmidt discussing recent and upcoming Supreme Court cases involving race, with a particular focus on affirmative action and voting rights. All Illinois Tech students, faculty, and staff are welcome.
