March 28, 2024Bring the youth in your family and kinship circles and join us for the 6th Annual AeroSTEM Expo on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hermann Hall. The AeroSTEM Expo and Luncheon is a one-of-a-kind, hands-on aviation science, technology, engineering, and math immersion for youth and families in the Chicago area. Participants in the expo will experience aviation/space activities, learn about industry careers, hear from colleges and universities regarding post-secondary programs, and meet/receive mentoring from professionals within the aviation and space industries. -

The lecture will be presented by Angie Asmus, the Director of Network & Telecommunications at Colorado State University, and Jason Zurawski, Science Engagement Engineer with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) and the Energy Sciences Network (ESnet). -
Michael J. Sandel Awarded 2023 Roy C. Palmer Prize for Book ‘Democracy’s Discontent,’ Will Give Lecture at Chicago-Kent Campus on Tuesday, April 2
March 26, 2024The 2023 Roy C. Palmer Prize on Democracy, Civil Liberties, and the Rule of Law has been awarded to Michael J. Sandel, the Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professor of Government at Harvard University, for his book, Democracy’s Discontent: A New Edition for Our Perilous Times (Harvard University Press 2022). Professor Sandel will visit Chicago-Kent on Tuesday, April 2, to deliver the 2023 Roy C. Palmer lecture. The public lecture is scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m. -

This application is for students who wish to live at Illinois Tech for any portion of the Summer 2024 semester. Summer housing will be hosted in Rowe Village Middle and Rowe Village South only. ECE Research Seminar: ‘Adventures and Lessons in Wireless Systems Design,’ Featuring Dr. Kenneth Zdunek
March 26, 2024The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is delighted to announce that Dr. Kenneth Zdunek, a distinguished speaker renowned for his contributions to the analysis, research, and design of wireless networks and systems, will be joining us on Friday, April 5, 2024. The event will take place in Siegel Hall room 118 at 3 p.m. Dr. Zdunek, who obtained his Ph.D. in 1991, is widely recognized as both an inventor and a leader in the field. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer of Roberson and Associates, a technology and management consulting company that originated from Illinois Tech in 2008, he also holds the position of Research Professor in the ECE Department.
