    Beginning on January 1, 2024, the standard mileage rates for privately owned vehicles while on official Illinois Tech business will be 67 cents per mile. This rate applies to electric and hybrid-electric automobiles, as well as gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles.

    2024 University Holidays

    The 2024 University Holiday schedule is listed below, and can be found on the Paid Time Off and Holiday Closures page of the Human Resources Department's website. Please note that the 2024 Holiday break would normally have run from Wednesday, December 25, 2024, through Wednesday, January 1, 2025. However, President Echambadi has granted two additional University Holiday days immediately preceding Christmas Day as a thank you to staff for their hard work throughout the year.
