Expect Road Closures in Loop in June and July Due to 2024 NASCAR Race
April 25, 2024Members of the Illinois Tech community who travel through the Loop may find commuting more difficult in the weeks leading up to and after the NASCAR Chicago Street Race, which takes place Saturday and Sunday, July 6–7, 2024, around Grant Park. Major streets that will be affected by crews setting up and breaking down the race course, as well as the race itself, include Ida B. Wells Drive, Michigan Avenue, Columbus Drive, and DuSable Lake Shore Drive. -
Hinge Health’s Free Services Are Expanding to Help Recovery From Smaller Joint Pain
April 25, 2024Hinge Health, Illinois Tech's digital exercise therapy partner, is expanding their services to include support for recovery for elbow, hand, wrist, ankle and foot joint pain. Services for these new programs will continue to be completely free for Illinois Tech's Blue Cross Blue Shield health plan members and their eligible dependents. Programs for back, knee, hip, neck, shoulder and other joint pain continue to be available as they have been.
