Financial Wellness Workshop September 10: Teaching Kids Smart Money Choices (ages 6-12)

Tuition Exchange Program Information Session September 11, 2024
August 20, 2024The Office of Human Resources will host a Tuition Exchange Information session on Wednesday, September 11 at 12:45pm via Zoom, for faculty and staff who have dependents beginning their undergraduate studies in the fall of 2025. Any faculty and staff who are interested in learning more about this program is welcome to attend. The session will be recorded and posted on the Benefits Resources page of Human Resources' website. -
Participate in the JED Campus Student Focus Group
August 15, 2024Illinois Tech is partnering with JED Campus to assess and enhance our mental health resources, programming and policies. Our JED Campus Advisor is holding a student focus group on campus on Wednesday, September 4, to gather narratives on the student perspective of the strengths, challenges, and opportunities as it relates to campus culture, policies, and procedures that impact student emotional wellness. -
Volunteer Opportunity for Sabermetrics, Scouting, and the Science of Baseball
August 13, 2024Illinois Tech students can attend the baseball statistics conference Saberseminar on August 24 an 25 for free by volunteering at the event (during one of four time slots: Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning, or Sunday afternoon). August 13, 2024This Turnitin session on Friday, September 13, will provide a brief refresher of using Turnitin and offer time for Questions and Answers. This session will be held by an expert from Turnitin and is hosted by the Center for Learning Innovation. -
Turnitin Virtual Training for Faculty on Aug. 26
August 13, 2024Join us on Monday, August 26, for an online training and learn how you can get the most out of Turnitin. The training will offer guidance on Canvas settings, the interpretation of the report, and provide an introduction to Turnitin and AI writing. -

Planning Ahead With Financial Aid
August 13, 2024Whether it’s understanding any missing requirements reflected on your Financial Aid Dashboard or understanding your aid offered, students are encouraged to meet with the Office of Financial Aid to help you plan for the semester ahead. As a reminder, if students are facing severe financial challenges through parent job loss, severe medical expenses, or other change in household circumstances may apply for a financial aid hardship appeal.
