Dr. Scott Smith to Speak at 2023 Nagib-Kalpakjian Lecture
October 10, 2023The Nagib and Kalpakjian Annual Lecture on Manufacturing will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 1:45–2:45 p.m. in room 104 (auditorium) of the John T. Rettaliata Engineering Center. We welcome Dr. Scott Smith who will present, “The Story of Thin.” After the lecture, in the first-floor atrium, the department will honor the Department of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering faculty emeriti. A reception will immediately follow. -

October 10, 2023The Department of Social Sciences presents its Great Problems, Great Minds seminar series featuring guest speaker Bo Zhao, an associate professor and a director of the Humanistic GIS Lab in the Department of Geography at the University of Washington, who will give a talk on “Humanistic GIS: Toward a Research Agenda.” This event is open to the public and will take place on October 13 from 3:15–4:30 p.m. over Zoom. -
Students Required to Complete Title IX Training by November 1, 2023
October 5, 2023Illinois Institute of Technology believes in the importance of creating a safe and healthy environment for all of our community members.
