November 12, 2012IIT College of Architecture faculty and students have been recognized in AIA Chicago’s 2012 Design Excellence Awards. At the October 26 event, five faculty-led firms received awards, including an award for a spring 2012 College of Architecture studio project. -
IIT University Technology Park Wins Driehaus Preservation Award for Incubator South and Technology Business Center
October 29, 2012Landmarks Illinois and the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation honored IIT University Technology Park's Incubator South and Technology Business Center with a Preservation Award for Adaptive Use at the awards ceremony on October 27. The annual Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Awards ceremony recognizes individuals, organizations, projects and programs from across the state of Illinois, whose work demonstrates a commitment to excellence in historic preservation. -

June 1, 2012The Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP) has named IIT Nambury S. Raju Chair of Psychology Ron Landis as a fellow, and a paper co-authored by Landis has been named a co-winner of the Best Paper of the Year for the journal Organizational Research Methods. -

April 16, 2012Join the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering for the 2012 Ralph Peck Lecture, "Protein Analogous Micelles: Versatile, Modular Nanoparticles," presented by Matthew Tirrell of University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory, at 4 pm on Friday, April 20 in Perlstein Hall. The 2012 Ralph Peck Lecture event also includes a student poster competition at 2 pm and presentation of the Charles W. Pierce Distinguished Alumni Award to T. S. Ramakrishnan, followed by a reception. -
Illinois Institute of Technology Wins 2012 Rotman Design Challenge
April 11, 2012In a competition involving twenty-two teams from the top MBA and graduate design programs from across North America, the team from Illinois Institute of Technology emerged on top of the 2012 Rotman Design Challenge. The competition was held at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School on Management on March 24. The IIT team narrowly edged out a team from OCAD University who won the competition last year. -
47th Annual IIT Lewis Department of Humanities Undergraduate Writing Contest Winners
April 11, 2012Thanks to all the IIT students who submitted work in this year's Lewis Department of Humanities Undergraduate Writing Contest. A lunch reception to recognize the talent of these students and to award Amazon gift cards will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, April 11 in the Collens Welcome Center of the MTCC.
