January 15, 2013Inspired by IIT's recently announced plans to build a new ‘Innovation Center’ on campus, architecture faculty Alphonso Peluso & John Manaves held the IIT Innovation Center Parametric Design Competition in fall 2012. Students in Arch 427 – Advanced Architectural Computing used the methods, concepts & skill sets covered in the course to develop a parametric design for the new IIT innovation center. -

Grant Awarded to AIAS IIT Lissette Project
December 12, 2012GRAPHISOFT® and the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) proudly announce the selection of the 2012 GRAPHISOFT AIAS Freedom by Design Grant recipient. This year, GRAPHISOFT and the AIAS partnered to award $1,500 to one AIAS chapter for an upcoming AIAS Freedom by Design project. The 2012 grant recipient is the AIAS Illinois Institute of Technology Chapter for the Lissette Project.
