Study Week Hours Added at Galvin Library

October 22, 2012
Paul V. Galvin Library will be offering a second week of 24-hour access on both levels to give you optimal access as you prepare for the end of the semester. Study Week starts on Sunday, November 25 when Galvin Library opens at noon and the library will remain open 24 hours on both levels all week. Study Week is followed immediately by the popular 24-hour Finals Week, which ends at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 7. That means you will have 293 hours or 13 straight days of 24-hour access to the entire space at Galvin Library!

Use Galvin Library’s Tips to Prepare for the Career Fair

When the Career Management Center surveys the companies that have attended the annual IIT Career Fair, the company representatives say the same thing: IIT students are exceedingly smart and polite but are unprepared to talk about the company itself or the industry they are in. Reducing Printing at IIT

August 17, 2012
Beginning this fall, free printing credits are being reduced to 250 per semester. The credits will continue to roll over between semesters until the end of the summer term when all accounts are wiped and reloaded with fresh print credits for the fall. Free print credits do not represent actual money, but if students need, they can add their own funds for additional printing.

Finals Week Hours at Galvin Library

Starting on Saturday, April 28 when the library opens at 8:30 am, both the upper and lower levels will be open 24 hours a day, and the entire building will not close until Friday, May 4 at 5:00 pm.
