Grainger Computing Innovation Prize Info Session Open to All Students
March 3, 2026Attention Illinois Tech Bachelor’s and Master’s Students: Do you have a bold idea that could make a real difference in the world? Here’s your chance to bring it to life. The Grainger Computing Innovation Prize invites ALL Illinois Tech bachelor’s and master’s students from ANY major to use computing, data science, and AI for social good. Over the fall semester, teams will compete for $30,000 in prizes. Attend the information session on Tuesday, March 24, at the MTCC Ballroom. -

The finals will showcase the best of Illinois Tech as Grainger Prize finalists, consisting of teams of undergraduate and graduate students, present their projects to a jury of Chicago’s tech leaders. Faculty & Staff Judges Needed for the Grainger Computing Innovation Prize – Round 2
October 2, 2025We are looking for a few volunteers to help judge the Grainger Computing Innovation Prize Round 2 presentations. Judges will listen to six student presentations and evaluate them to determine who advances to the next round. The session will take place on Wednesday, October 15, from 12:50–2:30 p.m. with a free lunch for judges from 12:15-12:45. -
