Make Laser-Cut Cards and Ornaments at the IIT Idea Shop

Use you imagination to give your creative ideas life at the IIT Idea Shop! Participate in a do-it-yourself project making laser-cut cards and ornaments on Friday, November 16 from noon–7:00 pm. We will have LEDs, conductive thread, and button batteries to add pizazz to your project. Produce cards, ornaments, invitations, signs, business cards, bookmarks, place cards, and more. Feel free to use our electronics workbench to add light and motion to your project! There will be free cookies and lemonade.

Idea Shop Tellabs Classroom Dedication on March 8

The Idea Shop invites the IIT community to the dedication of the Tellabs Classroom from 10-11 am on Thursday, March 8. Tellabs Foundation donated a generous gift to purchase additional equipment for the Idea Shop's Rapid Prototyping Lab, which will be named in honor of this support.
