The Art of the Reactor on display in Hermann Hall
November 8, 2022Lewis College of Science and Letters is proud to present the Art of the Reactor, an exhibit by the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History, alongside exhibits on the history of Chicago reactors, at Hermann Hall beginning on Friday, November 4. The exhibit will run through Sunday, December 4. Experience a special exhibit for the whole family that invites visitors of all ages to wonder at the brilliantly engineered renderings of nuclear reactors while also uncovering their inner artist by designing and creating their own unique artwork. -

November 8, 2022Lewis College of Science and Letters is proud to present Illinois Tech Professor of Physics Jeff Terry’s talk “Living in a High Energy World: Can it be Sustainable and Equitable?” During the talk, Terry will explain some of the challenges of providing electricity to 7 billion people across the globe. A gala reception will take place beginning at 6 p.m., followed by Terry’s talk at 7 p.m. -
