Derrick Streater is the newest member of the IIT Human Resources team, joining the university on April 1 as senior human resources generalist. He obtained a bachelor of science from Columbia College of Chicago and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and Development from National Louis University. For eight years, Streater was employed in human resources at Columbia College , primarily in the areas of training and development, and employee relations.

On January 11, the Internal Revenue Service announced the annual inflation adjustments for 2013, which states that the combined transit/vanpool limit is $245 per month and the pre-tax parking limit is also $245 per month.
