New, eligible members of the Illinois Tech health plan through Blue Cross Blue Shield can sign up and save when they take advantage of the waived enrollment fee opportunity: the normal enrollment fee of $19 will be waived for new members who sign up from Feb. 1 to March 31, 2024.

The 2024 University Holiday schedule is listed below, and can be found on the Paid Time Off and Holiday Closures page of the Human Resources Department's website. Please note that the 2024 Holiday break would normally have run from Wednesday, December 25, 2024, through Wednesday, January 1, 2025. However, President Echambadi has granted two additional University Holiday days immediately preceding Christmas Day as a thank you to staff for their hard work throughout the year.

Everyone on the BCBS medical plan will receive a new ID card for 2024 due to the implementation of the Health Advocacy Solutions program. Also, everyone new to the medical plan will also receive a CVS Caremark ID
