King Ankobea-Ansah (MSc. MAE ’22) Awarded Yanmar/SAE Scholarship
October 3, 2023Congratulations to Ph.D. candidate King Ankobea-Ansah (MSc. MAE ‘22), who is the 2023/24 recipient of the Yanmar/SAE Scholarship. Yanmar America Corporation is the world's largest manufacturer of non-vehicle-use diesel engines. Given the urgency of limited fuel supplies and environmental concerns over continued use of fossil fuel, Yanmar established this scholarship to help promote their motto: "to conserve energy is to serve mankind.” -

Illinois Tech is ranked #12 for earnings of graduates and #29 in the nation on the publication’s Best Value Schools list. The publication also rated Illinois Tech in the top 100 universities for engineering, computer science, and social mobility. -
ID Honored Twice in 2023 Fast Company Innovation by Design Awards
September 14, 2023Fast Company has honored two ID projects in its 2023 Innovation by Design awards: a suite of solutions created by a team of students for ID partner United Airlines, and the entrepreneurial Blue Lotus App from student Eva M. Althaus (MDM 2024). The competition, now in its 12th year, is one of the most sought-after design awards competitions in the industry. -
