Illinois Tech Appoints Alumna Ellen Jordan as First Woman University Regent
October 11, 2022Illinois Institute of Technology has announced Ellen Jordan (PSYC ’79, M.B.A. ’81) as its eighth University Regent in recognition of her decades of service and leadership to the university. Jordan is an alumna, trustee, founder, and president of America’s Food Technologies, Inc., CEO of Global Grounds, LLC, and the first woman to hold this prestigious role at Illinois Tech. -

October 11, 2022We are pleased to feature our 3rd Annual Virtual Global Alumni Gathering on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 7 p.m. This year’s theme for the virtual gathering will focus on exploring the incredible accomplishments of our alumni and how Illinois Tech has inspired them to be difference makers on a global scale. September 29, 2022Illinois Institute of Technology announced, on September 27, 2022, a historic $1 billion fundraising campaign to further Illinois Tech’s founding mission to uplift people from all backgrounds with a technology- and professional-oriented education that will help meet the needs of the age. The campaign, Power the Difference: Our Campaign for Illinois Tech, is focused on making Illinois Tech’s long-term strategic plan a reality by helping the university grow its student body; invest in faculty, facilities, and educational programs; develop and deliver new, world-leading research programs; and serve as the premier technology-focused university in Chicago. -

Midterm Course Evaluation Survey to Launch on Monday, September 26
September 20, 2022The Fall 2022 Midterm Course Evaluation Survey will open on Monday, September 26 and will remain open through Sunday, October 9. Instructors are asked to talk to their students about the survey and let them know that you value their feedback. Students can access the survey via a link in the email they will receive from the Center for Learning Innovation (CLI) or starting Monday, via a link found in the Tools area of Blackboard. Students are encouraged to take a few minutes to evaluate each of their courses.
