Broyde, professor of law and a senior fellow at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University, will deliver the keynote address on the first day of "Shari'a and Halakha in America," a free two-day conference co-hosted by IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).

  • Rice Campus Sustainability Project IPRO

    Illinois Institute of Technology’s green initiatives have expanded beyond the Main Campus. Located in Wheaton, Illinois, the Rice Campus has taken on a new challenge to implement green practices. Susan Camasta and Blake Davis are leading IPRO 497-323: The Rice Campus Sustainability Project. The members of the student team are underway to “greenifying” the building.

  • Physics Major Receives Prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

    Emily Hommerding, a senior physics major, has received a prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation. The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes outstanding senior undergraduate and doctoral-level students in the natural, social, and engineering sciences at U.S. institutions.
