    The Office of Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar, and the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs will be relocating from Main Building the week of October 22. IIT’s new One Stop Office in the MTCC will be available for all questions and inquires.

  • IIT Chicago-Kent’s Intellectual Property Law Society Continues “Patent Wars” Discussion Series

    The Intellectual Property Law Society (IPLS) at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law will present “Patent Wars Strike Back! Apple v. Samsung: The Rise and Wrath of Design Patents.” Attorney Christopher V. Carani of McAndrews, Held & Malloy, Ltd., will be the guest speaker. The program will be held October 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the law school’s Governor Richard B. Ogilvie Auditorium, 565 West Adams Street (between Clinton and Jefferson streets) in Chicago.

  • Associate Professor of Physics Jeff Terry Plenary Speaker at NuMat 2012: the Nuclear Materials Conference

    On October 23, Jeff Terry, associate professor of physics, will be a plenary speaker at NuMat 2012: the Nuclear Materials Conference in Osaka, Japan. His talk is titled “Synchrotron Radiation Studies of Advanced Nuclear Energy Materials” and will be part of the structural and functional materials for fission and fusion reactors session.

    OTS is in the process of upgrading the wireless infrastructure on Main Campus to a secure network that protects users by encrypting all data sent between their device and wireless access points. In early 2013, OTS will retire the non-encrypted “IIT-WiFi” wireless network.
