September 26, 2023The Department of Social Sciences presents a Great Problems, Great Minds seminar series event featuring guest speaker Bruce Newbold, a professor in the School of Earth, Environment, and Society and associate dean of the Faculty of Science at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, who will give a presentation on “Assessing Older Adult Mobility Using Wearable Technology.” This event will take place on Friday, September 29, from 3:15–4:30 p.m. over Zoom. -

Wu will give a presentation on “Tellurene Electronics and Beyond.” This event will take place on Wednesday, October 18, in room 104 of the Rettaliata Engineering Center (Auditorium) from 3:30–4:30 p.m. This event is open to the public. -

Test Your Hacking Skills at HackRTC
September 19, 2023HackRTC is a weekend-long hackathon focused on creating real-time communications enabled hacks (prototype applications) utilizing software resources supplied by the HackRTC sponsors. We bring together developers, designers, and tech enthusiasts over a weekend to create prototype solutions to real-world challenges, while providing a venue in which participants can showcase their skills, learn from industry experts, network with sponsors, and compete for prizes.
