Take Precaution in Workspaces During Extreme Heat
August 27, 2013A special message from the IIT Office of Facilities and Public Safety: With extreme temperatures, the capacity of IIT's air-conditioning systems on campus has been pushed to the limit. There may be instances where interior space is not sufficiently cool. If your workspaces become too warm, please move to a cooler location, avoid strenuous work, take breaks, and drink water. This OSHA link provides further guidance for avoiding heat-related illness in the workplace. -

August 27, 2013If you have purchased the Student Health Insurance Plan, insurance cards are now available to print. In order to access the card, click here for the Aetna website and enter your student identification number (including the "A") and date of birth. After you complete these steps, click to "view card" and then print. You should keep your insurance card available at all times. -
