Staff: Check Your Paychecks
January 13, 2022January 14, 2022, is the first biweekly paycheck date of the new year. Staff members should review paystubs to ensure accuracy of any benefit changes made during open enrollment, new FSA elections, and 403(b) election changes. Any discrepancies must be reported no later than Friday, January 21. -

The 2022 Leadership Academy Scholarship Application is Now Open
January 13, 2022The scholarship is a near full-tuition scholarship covering up to four years of the recipient’s undergraduate education and is open to full-time students at Illinois Tech who have at least four consecutive semesters remaining and a 3.0 cumulative GPA. -

Illinois Tech Alumni Team Publishes Novel Transport Phenomena Chemical Engineering Textbook
January 11, 2022Illinois Tech alumni Dr. Hamid Arastoopour, Dr. Dimitri Gidaspow and Dr. Robert W. Lyczkowski collaborated as authors of the newly released book, Transport Phenomena in Multiphase Systems. Margaret M. Murphy served as editor of the textbook which fills the need for a textbook presenting basic governing and constitutive equations, followed by several engineering problems on multiphase flow and transport that are not provided in current advanced texts, monographs, or handbooks.
