September 19, 2012Blackboard 9.1 will be the live university learning management system in January 2013. Faculty have access to the system now! You can explore 9.1 as an instructor in your own permanent course shell. You can even import content from one course or multiple courses in Blackboard 8 into that permanent space in 9.1. -

Get the New Blackboard Mobile Learn App (Updated)
September 7, 2012Blackboard recently announced a change in licensing options for its Mobile Learn application. Effective September 12, 2012, the free version of Blackboard Mobile Learn will expire. Users will be prompted to purchase a personal license when they attempt to use the app. To facilitate the continued use of this important mobile tool, an iOS or Android version will be made available at no cost to IIT students and instructors upon request. -

Changes on the way for Blackboard @ IIT!
August 14, 2012IIT Online has been working closely with OTS as the university upgrades our learning management system (LMS) to its new version, Blackboard 9.1. Faculty access and orientation to the new version will begin this September. The new version will become the live system for students and courses with the spring 2013 semester. -
Blackboard Mobile Learn at IIT
July 27, 2010The Office of Provost is pleased to announce that, in conjunction with the university iPad program, all fall 2010 IIT classes will have a mobile web page through Blackboard Mobile Learn.
