IIT Students Honored by Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for 2013 EPA Campus RainWorks Challenge Win
May 17, 2013The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago issued a resolution on May 16 at its board meeting in recognition of the IIT student entry in the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Campus RainWorks Design Challenge. Students from IIT College of Architecture and the Landscape Architecture Program, IIT Armour College of Engineering and IIT Stuart School of Business, led by Studio Assistant Professor Mary Pat Mattson and Paul Anderson, were recognized for their first-place design of green infrastructure to manage stormwater on the campus of IIT. -

May 15, 2013The "AZAHAR Architecture" team, which included IIT student, Alejandro Daras (Master of Architectural Engineering candidate) took the top title of International Skyscraper and Mock Firm Champion at the fifth annual Mock Firms International Skyscraper Competition. -
