The ECE Department is excited to announce that our Illinois Tech Cyberhawks team placed second in this year's Illinois State National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition, (CCDD) Qualifier Event, on Saturday, February 17. We are exceptionally proud of our team for their determination, time management, and skill throughout the day on Saturday.

Illinois Tech CyberHawks was invited to participate at the 2023 NCAE (National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity) Cyber Games National Championship on Saturday, April 22 at the University of South Florida-Tampa.

On Saturday, April 1, students from Illinois Institute of Technology’s cybersecurity student organization, CyberHawks, won the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE) Cyber Games Midwestern Regional 2. The CyberHawks faced off against nine teams from eight other universities and surpassed their previous top score at last year’s Midwestern Regional and National Championships.
