April 9, 2013Ullica Segerstrale, professor of sociology and director of the Camras Scholars program, has published Nature’s Oracle: The Life and Work of W.D. Hamilton. She will give a lecture, “The Edge of Creativity: A Look at the Scientific Life of W.D. (Bill) Hamilton,” with reception and book-signing at IIT on May 2 from 3:15-4:50 p.m. in Perlstein Hall Auditorium. -

Segerstrale Presents at World Academy of Art and Science Forum in Trieste
March 13, 2013Ullica Segerstrale, professor of sociology, gave a presentation at the Trieste Forum of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS), held March 4-7 at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy. The forum’s theme was “Impact of Science and Technology on Society and Economy.”
