Spring 2023 HawkCard ID and UPass Information
December 13, 2022New students joining Illinois Tech for Spring 2023 should submit their HawkCard ID photo online by Wednesday, December 21, to ensure their HawkCard ID and UPass (Eligible Full-time Students & Optional) is ready for move-in beginning January 3 and the semester UPass effective date of January 6. Additionally, students must be registered full time to have a Ventra UPass card ordered (new students) or activated (returning students). -

Fall 2021 HawkCard Distribution
August 12, 2021Students who submitted their photo online by July 30, 2021, your HawkCard will be available for pickup at your residence hall community front desk on your scheduled move-in day. -
Fall 2021 UPass Program
July 20, 2021Students who are registered for full-time academic hours (Grad students - 9 billable academic hours, Undergrad students -12 billable academic hours) will be enrolled for the UPass program. -
Building Access Limited During Winter Break
December 14, 2020Mies Campus buildings will be closed Thursday, December 24 through Sunday, January 3, 2021, for winter break. To facilitate university business, faculty, staff, and student research assistants will continue to have their standard HawkCard access during this time. -
HawkCard ID Update
August 27, 2020Online HawkCard ID photo submission is ongoing for students who plan to be on campus for Fall 2020. Resident students will receive their HawkCard at their Residence Hall and commuter students can schedule an appointment for pick-up beginning Tuesday, September 8. -
HawkCard ID: Target Deadline for Online Photo Submission, July 31
July 21, 2020Students who plan to arrive to campus during Welcome Week (August 17 - 23) or just prior should submit their HawkCard ID photo online by July 31. -
Faculty/Staff Permit Holder Lot Access Reminder
August 22, 2019Faculty and staff that have an active parking permit must use their HawkCard to gain access to lots on campus.
